Lake Cumberland Welcomes First Baby of 2025

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is ringing in 2025 with the year’s first bundle of joy! Weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and measuring 19 3/4 inches, Eloise was born to proud parents Katie and Dylan on January 1, 2025, at 10:56 a.m.

"Eloise was due on New Year’s Eve, and they decided to induce. When I arrived at the hospital, my water broke. This is our first baby, and we couldn’t be happier!" shared Katie. "Everyone at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital has been amazing.”

Committed to delivering top-notch, compassionate care to new and expecting parents in the region, Lake Cumberland's Women's Center provides various services to ensure a positive and memorable experience. The center boasts a Level IIB Nursery, six private labor and delivery rooms, and free virtual and in-person prenatal and breastfeeding classes.
