Lake Cumberland Surgery Center

The Lake Cumberland Surgery Center (LCSC), which opened in December 2001, is a freestanding 12,680 multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center that is jointly owned by Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and several local surgeons. Our mission is to form lasting relationships with patients in surrounding communities and to offer high-quality and cost-effective surgical services. Our goal is to promote a safe and comfortable environment where the standards of care afford a level of excellence and efficiency that reflects our values.

Located on the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital campus, the center opened with two operating rooms and one endoscopy room.  Two years later, the center became a joint venture partnership with local surgeons and expanded to include three operating rooms and two endoscopy rooms in service.  
 
Because quality and excellent patient care are important to us at Lake Cumberland Surgery Center, we voluntarily undergo frequent surveys from accreditation agencies to help us be the best we can be.  We are pleased to say that we have maintained full accreditation with the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) since our inception.
